Life is Never Simple or Problem Free(via Worldwide Drug Addiction News)

After attending a drug rehab program, you life will most likely improve.  One of the keys and foundations of relapse prevention is to realize in your core, that is will only improve and it will be far from perfect.  Happiness and sobriety are a product of reasonable expectation.  In rehab it is vital to set your personal goals as high as possible.  It is critical to set a path of high personal integrity and values.

Realistic expectation is that your life will still be filled with problems you will have to solve even after drug rehab.  There will be days of setback and turmoil.  The difference before and after rehab, is that you problems will not be about acquiring drugs and alcohol.  They will not be about getting caught in another lie.

Your problems after drug rehab will be about how to do a better job in your career.  They will be how to acquire the skills to take a relationship to a new higher level of trust.  Your problems will be about building a better life.  Nobody gets to avoid problems.  We do however get to choose to a certain degree what type of problems we are going to have.  You can have the problems that occur with growth, or you can have the problems that occur with covering your tracks.  Think of drug rehab as a way to raise the quality of problems you encounter in your life.  It is not a course in removing problems in your life.
